When did you realise you wanted to be a designer?

As a child I always had the propensity to take things apart and rebuild them, then at 18 I decided I wanted to be an architect. Once I moved to Milan, after studying architecture in Madrid, I fell in love with design at Achille Castiglioni’s course.

What is artificial light for you?

It is a means of interaction between people and architecture. A fundamental element of design. A tool to improve the quality of space.

Why do you like working with Flos?

Because it has always been a dream, starting from the relationship they had with Castiglioni. Then knowing it from the inside, I appreciated the ability to work four-handedly, the dialogue that goes beyond the project, the courage to take risks and the technological capacity. An elective affinity.

What is the next object you would like to design?

A water purifier or a communication system that is not harmful to health and totally intuitive.
